Dendrobium finisterrae

All the best species come out of Papua New Guinea - and by best, I mean weirdest! Dendrobium finisterrae is no exception, and even so may be my most requested species of the year so far. Found growing at slightly higher elevations deep into central PNG, this hairy flowered oddball is technically free-flowering and will bloom given bright-ish light and regular watering throughout the year. I'm just now taking these out of plug trays and potting them up - plants will come in 2.5" pots as large seedlings/NBS. Look how rooty they are!
