Brassavola cucullata (appendiculata)

An uncommon species from the northern parts of South America that grows hanging in trees. It has very thin, succulent/strap-leaf foliage and sprouts these droopy, fragrant flowers from the leaves 2-3 times a year. Flower can get pretty big on this species and the plants make an awesome display when grow in a basket. Grow these in medium light and water regularly, or whenever the roots turn white.
